Requirements
The Solan website design challenged us to present a complex service and product offering to the Potatoes Industry in a simple yet visually engaging way.
Solan is a fully independent supplier of certified early generation potato seed to Australia’s Potato Seed Growers. Solan’s Mini Tuber production facility meet all field planting time slots required throughout the country’s various growing regions. The company controls production from importation of tissue culture through to mini tuber storage and dispatch directly to certified seed growers. Solan’s site is where all processes for production of mini tubers starts and finishes, with a dedicated Tissue Culture Laboratory, Fully Automated Nursery Facility and purpose built Cool Room for tuber storage.
Our Process
To begin the process we spent time with the client to gain a solid understanding their core business activities, the industry they operate within and their target audience. It quicky became apparent that there was an urgent need to redesign a new logo and update associated branding assets.
The website design challenged us to present a complex service and product offering in a simple yet visually engaging way.
Results
A unique logo design ustilising the solan flower of the potato plant. This avoids the cliches often used in the sector.
